I overwintered them under growth light at 15 - 20 oC. All plants was cut back. All plants was transferred to the greenhouse in the mid of april 2011. My observation is that C. Annuum is inherently shortlived. When reaching autumn they are already exhausted. They seems to grow like annual plants. C. Baccatum (I overwintered Aji Colorado) now in the end april has began to shoot and bloom. C. Pubescens (Tabasco) looked quite poor during the winter but has began to shoot and in fact looks quite good now. The best result I had with C. Pubescens (Red Rocotto). This plant is very healty and vigorous and i expect to get a lot of peppers from the two overwintered rocottos. I have not tried to overwinther C. Und bis auf die Agatha und NumexSuaveRed sind alle extrem scharf. Wenn sie erst im Winter gewachsen sind und praktisch keine Sonne abbekommen haben, dann werden sie auch bei mir weder groß noch scharf. Was für eine Sorte hast du denn? Und wo gekauft. Ich würde grundsätzlich einen der Onlineversender empfehlen und nicht im Baumarkt kaufen. Die Chilis hier sind alle unterschiedlich scharf gezüchtet worden. Obwohl mir der Verkäufer sagte es sei eine relativ scharfe Sorte. Kann es sein, dass durch Zuchtfehler die Schärfe verloren geht?
